As a young girl, I watched my father pour his heart into building community. He believed deeply that when people come together with generosity and purpose, real change is possible. That early lesson in the power of philanthropy never left me. It shaped not just how I see the world, but the work I have dedicated my life to.

For more than 30 years, I have served as a fundraising and nonprofit leader. I have guided teams, boards, and executives across Canada and the United States in advancing causes that change lives. I have raised more than 250 million dollars through annual giving, major gifts, legacy giving, capital campaigns, planned giving, and foundation grants, always with a focus on building strong donor relationships and long-term sustainability.

Through Cuff Charitable Consulting, I help mission-driven organizations, faith-based groups, and philanthropists experience what I call Purpose-Driven Giving. It is a values-based approach to fundraising that is strategic, joyful, and deeply impactful. Whether it involves launching a capital campaign, building a development team, choosing the right CRM, or stewarding major donors, I walk alongside clients with clarity and care.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of:

• Leading the most successful capital campaign in Trinity Western University’s history, raising $25M+ ahead of schedule to fund new student housing and campus growth, including the Robert G. Kuhn building

• Serving as Vice President of Development at Power to Change, where I supported 11 national and international programs

• Overseeing $12 million annually as Divisional Director for The Salvation Army across 63 programs in British Columbia

• Co-authoring an $80 million grant to secure the Pacific Northwest’s only Salvation Army Kroc Center in Salem, Oregon, helping bring one of Salem’s most significant community projects to life
